Good morning cheap craft supplies enthusiasts!
Oh my goodness me what a fun day it was yesterday. Since our faithful volunteer Gary has been ill this week, Peter and me have been SCRAMBLING to pick up the slack. Poor Gary had such a bad bout of bronchitis that he ended up in hospital!
And my goodness isn’t that man worth his weight in gold?? Little old me had to man the store yesterday morning, and wouldn’t you know it – a TRUCKLOAD of university students turned up wanting a guided tour and a speech. Well I was speechless. Lucky I had Bernie with me for moral support.
Speaking of great volunteers, since Bernie has been with us the store is looking sooooo much better. Spick and span, organized to the hilt. Thank you Bernie for your incredible dedication to the cause.
So anyway, we hope you get well soon Gary. Rest up and come back when you’re feeling ready.
